God took the form of Hayagriva. It is not possible to estimate His greatness. Not only we, even the Vedas cannot do so. The Vedas which set out to estimate His greatness are stated to be still on the job! Unable to scale the summit of that greatness they turn back, tired. Vedas are Apaurushe:yai:, that is not written by men. Not merely men, no living being had written them. Living beings are also referred to as purusha:s as well. That is the reason for describing the Vedas as Apaurushe:yai:- not written by any living beings which is why they can be said to be without any likes or dislikes. They can know something as it is. They can describe things as they are. If such Vedas are incapable of describing such Moorthi what to speak of others? O Lord Hayagriva such is your greatness. Yet I am trying to sing your praise without any hesitation. It is characteristic of young boys to embark on tasks well beyond their capacity. I am doing likewise and making an exhibition of my ignorance. Do not the learned and elderly, tolerate the ignorant? May I seek your indulgence and grace, O Compassionate one?
JAI SRIMANNARAYANA !
