Hayagriva is the Lord of all deities. It is His voice that has manifested itself as Sa:ma Ve:da. All the Gods rejoice listening to the Sa:ma Ve:da. Thereby, they please the Lord also. Out of this, they get immense satisfaction. The neighing of Hayavadana is itself a recital of Sa:ma Ve:da which captivates all deities.
The Rig Ve:da indicates the various duties to be performed, their sequence as well as the manthra:s to be recited for different purposes. Hayagriva’s neighing is just an alternative to all the sounds contained in the Rig Ve:da. Therefore, this neighing ensures the fructification of all duties performed.
The Yajur Ve:da indicates the benefits that follow particular acts, who should do what and how and their significance. This Ve:da tell us more about the unseen benefits. The neighing of the Swami is verily the abode of the Yajur Ve:da.
The very recalling of this amounts to a recounting of all Ve:da:s.
