Lord Hayagriva! I wish to defeat poets and logicians in debate. These scholars however should be well-versed in all sa:sthra:s. Assemblies of such scholars should be like battle fields. In such assemblies there should be arbitrators who themselves are very learned and who may be able to pronounce the victor without any bias. When I debate in such assemblies pray be on my tongue and grant me success.
This slo:ka enables acquisition of great debating skill.
