O personification of knowledge and joy! In the depths of our heart, we meditate upon Your Lotus-Feet always. The golden anklets adorning Your Feet sparkle always anew and dazzle our eyes. It is as if several Suns assemble at one place and shine forth. Just as the light of the Sun banishes darkness, so too, the brilliance of Your Feet can banish the darkness of ignorance and Va:sana:s (tendencies) in us. The Lotus unfolds at the appearance of the early morning Sun, so also, my soul blossoms with joy due to the service of Your golden Feet. I always meditate upon Your Lotus-Feet.
