O Hayagriva! Let even a small speck of the dust of Your Lotus-Feet fall on my head. I do not know what my destiny is – whether I will be far away from You and suffer. I should not be away from You even for a fraction of a second. May my destiny be such that, all my endeavours are successful. I cannot ensure this myself. This can be only by the dust of Your Feet. Even Gods like Indra reverentially place the dust of Your Lotus-Feet on their heads, so that their destiny may be favourable. Grant that same dust may lie on my head so that I may become a worthy person.
