Hayagriva Swami is a brilliant light. He arose out of His own will (sankalpa). Out of compassion and without any outside influence He appears before us in a form we can see. He shines like a mountain of sparkling gems. The light emanating from Him fills all the lo:ka:s like streams of ambrosia (amrutha) and makes them brilliant. He is the embodiment of all vidya:s. He banishes the darkness of ignorance in all the lo:ka:s and fills them with the light of knowledge. The Upanishads also follow the sound of His neighing. We extol this divine effulgence which banishes such defects as lack of intelligence or understanding.
Recitation of this slo:kam by those who are not sufficiently intelligent will result in an improvement of their intelligence and understanding enabling them to acquire knowledge (vidya:s) better.
JAI SRIMANNARAYANA !
