O Hayagriva! The mind of one who meditates on You with great faith becomes a unique lake. In that lake, You move about like a beautiful swan, full of joy. Blessed are they who keep You in the mind and meditate upon You. Such persons do not have to search for words when they speak. For ordinary persons, appropriate words come up only after great effort. You make Your devotees utter loving and useful words for the benefit of the world. Such words compete with one another and come forward to serve devotees and stay at the tip of the tongue. I pray that You reform my speech also. I pray that You swim in the lake of my mind, like a swan.

This slo:kam should be recited to improve one’s power of speech.
