You grant satisfaction, not only to Brahma and Brihaspathi, but to all deities. In a Ya:ga (sacrifice), oblations are made to gods – such offerings are fruitful only when accompanied by appropriate manthra:s, otherwise, they are useless. In other words, the offerings become acceptable only with the addition of the manthra:s. The gods gets satisfaction because of You. You favour the gods by assuming a form which is the personification of manthra:s.
